  115.     sure the files are processable with plain TeX. Supply a dummy
  116.     definition of \ProvidesFile.
  117.     (subsection{Multiple languages}): Added code to
  118.     \process@language to detect whether the patterns file also
  119.     contains assignments to left- and righthyphenmin. When it doesn't
  120.     supply a default setting of 2 and 3; store the setting in
  121.     \extras<language>.
